Student performers can apply by submitting an unlisted YouTube link of the entire etude that they want to play. (You may also register as a non-performer, no recording necessary.) The Austin Flute Society programing committee will choose up to three students to perform each etude. Each student will play one excerpt and the teacher will provide feedback to the student and general tips to all attendees. The class will be able to join with the performer to work on the suggestions made by the teacher. Students are welcome to audit all classes. Non-performers should still bring their flutes for group practice!
Performer applications due on Oct 5th. If you are unable to register online (no PayPal account), send your YouTube link to austinflutesociety@gmail.com
Non-performers can register through the day of the event, including at the door, if unable to register online. We can also add registrations manually if you write us at austinflutesociety@gmail.com
